LV TRAINER Sneaker

This LV Trainer sneaker from the LV Trainer Art Collaboration features an intricate wave pattern created by Chinese artist Wen Na on smooth cowhide leather. Wen Na’s work combines murals, sculptures and space to tell stories of real and imaginary histories of different regions. She has used the image of gods in traditional Chinese visuals to create murals in China and around the world by compiling a new system of gods. She named the shoe “Wave”, inspired by the green waves in traditional Chinese imagery, a common visual symbol in Wen Na’s work. This sneaker is made in Italy. Wen Na personally explained her creative vision and techniques to help Louis Vuitton artisans to delicately present every detail of the pattern. Dozens of hours of painting give each finished product a unique artistic charm.
